SHAEMARA

Shaemara is Toronto born artist, of Bajan, Czech, and Hungarian descent. As a singer, songwriter, storyteller her sound can be described as Electro, Soul, RnB with influences of Sade and Erykah Badu. Shaemara loves to create an atmosphere for her audience to escape, performing her original music featuring ethereal harmonies, and intriguing stories. Shaemara is also actively involved in all aspects of her art from writing, to costume design, music production, video editing, dance, and more using her creativity as a way to embrace vulnerability and inspire others. She recently independently released single “Shadow feat. Jes Cho” which talks about being honest with your purpose and fearlessly moving forward,  plus “Stop Apologizing” an Afro House track Produced by Frank Williams on NYC label Soul Sun Soul Music.
