KIDDO MAGAZINE PROGRAM

Presented by Kiddo Magazine, the “POSTER AND LITERARY CONTESTS” is a challenge is an arts and creative writing competition for youth! Kiddo Magazine is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2017, along with Canada’s 150th anniversary! To celebrate this year young Canadians are encouraged to join in and share with us their vision of the future for themselves and for Canada!
Who can participate? Youth Canadian aged 6 to 14 years old.
Let’s get inspired! What do you see in Canada’s future? Young Canadians are invited to draw a picture or write a short story, a poem or an essay. They can also submit an entry in each of the two categories.
At the Pan American Food and Music Festival we will be providing a hands-on workshops for our challenges:
Workshop Draw it! – Poster Contest
Workshop Write it! – Literary Contest
That is not all, we will teach you how to create a Maple Leaf by folding paper in our Origami workshop! Let’s create our very own Maple Tree!
Kaptain Leaf will come to teach you a bit about the Triple Bottom Line: People, Planet, Profit! Are you ready?
